Activity

1. During 5th-8th July, the China Scrap Association has confirmed to be the organizer of 2011 China International DRI Seminar, so has the non-blast fur-nace ironmaking Research Academic Committee of the Chinese Society for Metals. Therefore, the seminar will be co-organized by the Over-world Non-Blast-Furnace Iron-making Technical Consultancy Co.,Ltd., the China Scrap Association, and the Non-blast Furnace Ironmaking Academic Committee of the Chinese Society For Metals. The executive sponsor is the Over-world Non-Blast-Furnace Iron-making Technical Consultancy Co.,Ltd.. We are doing our best to make the 2011 China International DRI Seminar a great conference on the DRI market.

2. For the sake of sound development of China’s DRI market, we organizers are managing to hold the Preparation Meeting of DRI Academic Committee at the same time.

3. On July 6th, headquarter of Midrex in America decided to participate in the conference. On the conference they will put their focus on introducing its this year’s development of Midrex techniques as well as that of iron-making techniques. The Midrex techniques are environmentally friendly ,which meet the requirement of China’s environmental protection on 12th five-year plan.

4. On July 6th, Mexican HYL and the HISMELT’s techniques of Rio Tinto Group decided to send represents to take part in the 2011 China International DRI Seminar. During the con-ference they will introduce their techniques’ last development.

5. On July 10th the Indian DRI Association decided to participate. And the represents also have great interest in China’s rotary kilns and tunnel kiln (through which iron fine is made into pig iron). Moreover, they have already asked the Over-world Non-Blast-Furnace Iron-making Technical Consultancy Co.,Ltd. to recommend potential clients.

During 4th-10th July, the Tangshan Outstanding Science & Technology Co., Ltd., the Macawber Engineering Inc (America), the Beijing Shenwu Environmental & Energy Technology Corp, as well as the Kaiyang Kiln Furniture Co., Ltd. of Zhengzhou have decided to show their support to the seminar. Besides, they all will sponsor the seminar.

7.On July 4th,the Direct Reduction South Center of Central South University declare his support on "2011 China International DRI Senimar" and agreed to serve as support units.
