April 23 (Bloomberg) -- India has invited bids from merchant bankers to be appointed as advisers for the sale of a 10 percent stake in Coal India Ltd., the department of disinvestment said in news paper advertisements today. The government plans to sell 10 percent stake in the state- run monopoly producer, the advertisement said. The investment bankers are required to submit bids by May 3.
